An app built for around 6,000 field reps connects beat plans, retailer visits, meeting records and incentive progress. The same engagement replaced the legacy .NET application with a modern stack.

The challenge
The daily work of roughly 6,000 field reps includes planning retailer visits, preparing for meetings, recording outcomes and tracking incentives. Those tasks needed to work together.
The existing app used a legacy .NET architecture. Havells needed a modern application that made field activity visible to reps and leaders. This work was prioritised first because of its direct connection to sales.
What we built
Parallel Loop built a Field Sales Intelligence app around the full field routine and modernised the underlying application in the same engagement.
- Route (beat) planning, with creation, review and approval.
- Visit tracking, pre-meeting briefs based on previous meeting context, and post-meeting voice notes.
- Weekly and monthly incentive progress across retailer visits, revenue, and upsell and cross-sell.
- Automatic action-item tracking that team leaders can see.
- CRM updates from meeting recordings, with recording required as part of the workflow.
- A full revamp from the legacy .NET application to a modern stack.
The impact
The engagement took six weeks, or about one and a half months, against a typical six-month timeline. Actual build time was two to three weeks.
- One app built for around 6,000 field reps.
- Reps can see their incentive progress; team leaders can follow action items.
- Meeting context and follow-up are connected to the retailer relationship.
- The legacy application has moved to a modern stack.
